چکیده
In this article, we develop analytical-numerical models for reconfigurable reflecting metasurfaces formed by chessboard-patterned arrays of metallic patches. These patch are loaded with varactor diodes in order to enable surface impedance and reflection phase control. Two types analytical considered. The first model based on the effective medium approach is used predict metasurface reflectivity. second Bloch wave dispersion same structure understood as a two-dimensional transmission line metamaterial. latter study ways suppress parasitic resonances finite-size beamforming metasurfaces. We validate developed full-wave numerical simulations. Finally, outline design control network capacitive memory that may allow independent programming individual unit cells metasurface.

A comparison between numerical and analytical modeling of ECAP
Recent developments in nanostructured products draw considerable attention to ultrafine grained materials. These materials are normally manufactured by different severe plastic deformation (SPD) methods. In the present study, analytical models and finite element method (FEM) are used to calculate strain imposed to a specimen that was deformed by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP). In additio...
متن کاملReconfigurable Gradient Metasurfaces With Random Access
Since metamaterials have enabled the design of almost arbitrary landscapes of static optical properties and functionalities, dynamic temporal and spatial control over metamaterial properties has become the next big challenge [1]. Here we demonstrate the first randomly addressable reconfigurable metamaterials, thus enabling fast and high-contrast control over optical properties simultaneously in...

متن کاملAnalytical and numerical modeling of erosive projectiles into steel fiber reinforced concrete target
In this paper, modeling of high speed projectiles with different nose shapes, penetrating into steel fiber reinforced concrete is investigated. This is a novel study because it considers the length to diameter ratio of steel fiber as well as projectile length to diameter ratio and volume fraction of fiber used in concrete matrix on the impact resistance of steel fiber reinforced concrete fibers...
متن کاملAnalytical and numerical study of nonlinear effects at tsunami modeling
The giant tsunami occurred in the Indian Ocean on 26th December 2004 pays attention to this natural phenomenon and the possibility to use the analytical methods. The given paper demonstrates the role of nonlinear effects in the computed dynamics of the tsunami waves in shallow seas and the applicability of the rigorous and approximated solutions of the nonlinear theory of water waves to explain...
